Tracy Rashida Alhassan Bawa is a young lady and Master graduate who developed a strong passion for agriculture in 2018 and now the founder and CEO of BOOD company limited which began its operations in 2020. The company is into the commercial production of maize and soyabean under conservation agriculture and runs an in grower model school for small holder farmers especially women in the upper west region of Ghana. The startup company had since choked success in wining some grants and executive master trainings from Kosmos Innovation center and Ghana climate innovation center of the standard chattered women in technology. These milestones served as catalyst to bring her innovation idea in fruition and still in progress to actualize her vision for the company. She has served as panelist for several platforms including the African women innovation and entrepreneurship forum and currently still serves as the CEO of BOOD working with over 400 farmers most of whom are women across three districts in the upper west region.
