I am Nangamso Ngacu who had an honour to be part of programme which started on the 22nd February 2004 this programme was educating us about rural development and community development programme. It is needless to say all these modules were interesting, they were empowering us with skills knowledge and strategic plan to deal with challenges facing underdeveloped communities. My intention is to see my Community developing so that people can have internal motivation about farming programmes, at the end of the day they must be self responsible and have self reliance. My main role is to close the gap that exist between Communities, access by people to the services especially the poor. My activity to develop the underdeveloped is an evidence at Nqadu Great Place i work for as my Lectures empowered me with skills and knowledge as to why ,when and how inculcating creativity within me.My promise is to develop my under resourced Mbhashe and Mnquma Municipalities under AmaXhosa Kingdom as i leave development ,dream development after all development is my name.My intention is to make a general accepted input and development,farming adding value and making a difference in my community.I constantly seek knowledge to full fill this desire and to see change concerning my input that will lead to good and positive outcomes towards farming. I’m also working with her majesty Queen Nonzuzo Sigcawu at Nqadu Great Place .Devotion ,kindness,compassion ,love towards community and one another have been the key elements of my services.Some youth members have been kept away from substance abuse through church commitments .Working with cases of destitute people who are fellowshipping within the church, these include vulnerable children ,people living with disability ,elderly ,widows etc who are not able to sustain themselves.I also passed BA in Community Development and Cultural Studies I really love my Community work as i’m having my small food gardening , i don’t want to sound as if I am only interested in myself because that is not the case .I am part of community and we can only truly succeed if we support each other.For me it is satisfying to see growth of other people how can i be truly successful if those around me are still struggling .I am always happy to help others so long as i can see that people are willing to work .I like to start the day with a fresh mind and a fresh cup of coffee that way I am ready for anything and everything.I m a God fearing person. Each time I teach someone it makes me happy to see that optimism grow in them.
