A passionate Social Entrepreneur, with knowledge and experience of Economics and Community development, Miss Annan founded The Mishkan Group as a Social Impact business focused on the 100% organic farming and end-to-end processing of high-grade non-gmo Cotton, to cater globally to businesses. Driven by her passion to have businesses as the fore runner in the alleviation of poverty, Profits will be used towards rural community development and the rehabilitation of individuals living and begging on the streets by providing training and employment – especially for those that have physical disabilities. She identified in a research thesis, ‘The Problems of Developing Countries Dependent on Primary Commodities – a Case Study of Ghana©, scenarios that contributed to the downward spiral of our economy from Independence, noting that the effective consolidation of the Agricultural sector and development of our nation’s People, was key in growing our economy.
