My name is Millicent Abillah I am the Founder of Seven Fields Enterprises, a startup in the agriculture sector faming and processing organic oilseeds. Our products are Sunflowers, Soybeans, Sesame, Chia and Groundnuts. We also collaborate with small scale farmers for bulk production of the organic produce. We ensure that the farm produce is purely organic through farmer registration and farm mapping. We have model farms where we train farmers interested in the oilseeds farming thereby creating an economic livelihood in the local community. With our sunflower farming we have beekeeping to bring in more revenue whilst at the same time providing opportunities to farmers who may not have enough farmland for seeds production. From our cold press oil extraction of sunflower and soybean seeds the byproduct seed cake is sold to poultry and livestock farmers. My mission is to produce more organic oilseed and sell to Africa and the global market.
